It’s a simple trading game. You start with a random gift card and trade with people throughout the afternoon. Whatever you end with is yours to keep.

Everyone in the room is trying to trade what they are holding, which gives you a reason to walk up to people and talk. Trading happens naturally as people look for the cards they want.

Most cards are worth $25, and a few special ones have their own twists and values.

This event is about taking part, not pitching yourself or anyone else. All are welcome, ages 19+, including 30s, 40s, 50s and up. Couples, friend groups, and solo attendees are all welcome.

The first event takes place on Saturday, January 17, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm (doors open at 3:00pm) at Sorry Studio in Liberty Village. Tickets are $35 and include two complimentary drinks and a starting gift card.

This is the first run of It’s in the Cards. Drinks are provided by Barcart Atelier.
