Your friends are great.
You just don’t see them enough anymore.

A social night where it’s easy to talk to anyone

Liberty Village · April 25 · 7–10 PM
$35 early bird (until this Sun only!)
30+ people already going

For people in their 30s and 40s who want something different from the usual scene.

You have a full life, but your social circle hasn’t kept up.

This is a place to meet new people without networking, small talk, or pretending to be someone you’re not.

You enjoy going out, just not nights where you have to shout over music.

You’ll walk into a room where:

people are open to talking, but not trying to impress anyone
it’s easy to join a conversation without overthinking it
people are friendly without being pushy

What this is

Most nights out just put people in a room and hope something happens.

This one doesn’t.

You walk in with a simple way to start a conversation with anyone in the room.

How it works

When you arrive, you’ll get a card tied to a local Toronto spot. Everyone gets a different one.

You’ll see cards you want more than yours, and others will want yours. So you trade. That’s how conversations start.

Talk to a few people or a lot. Stay in one conversation or move around.

Near the end of the night, names are drawn. About one third of people win the card they’re holding.

What’s included

• your starting card tied to a local spot
• one drink (cocktails, mocktails, or beer by Barcart Atelier)
• light snacks
• one entry into a separate raffle
• a room full of people who are open to talking and easy to approach

    - Lisa

    1. Arrive and get a card tied to a local Toronto spot

    2. Walk around, see what others have, and trade if you want something different.

    3. That’s how conversations start naturally.

    4. Near the end, we draw names. If yours is picked, you win the card you’re holding.

  • Most people do. The card gives everyone a built-in reason to approach each other, so nobody is standing around waiting for someone to talk to them.

Coming alone is actually easier here than a typical night out.

  • Stay for at least an hour and make at least one trade. If you’re not enjoying it, we’ll refund your ticket.

Even if you had your free drink. That’s on us.

  • Mostly people in their 30s and 40s.

People with full lives who just don’t meet new people as often as they used to.

You’ll meet people who are open to talking, easy to approach, and not trying to impress anyone.

60–80 people per event. Small enough to feel personal, big enough to meet new faces all night.
